What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
What makes me a top DB in the draft is that I am a do it all defender who has the ability to take over games. I naturally prefer man coverage from the slot because of the amount of man we play at Merrimack, but we also run a variety of zone schemes depending on the personnel. My balls skills and play recognition, as well being able to cover ground are on an elite level which helps me excel in the post and in zone coverage. I am also an elite tackler; you will see me all over the field. I made 107 tackles in 4 years. I am also elite on special teams, a player who is willing to do anything to see the team win.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I have the heart of a lion! I give 110% every snap at every practice and every game! My coaches will attest to that about me at all levels. I will give everything I have and lay it on the line for my team and my family.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
My plan is to one day start a foundation that goes to countries who lack resources. I’d like to get together a big group and go deliver water, food and supplies to those in need who are not as fortunate as most Americans.
Who was your role model?
My mom and my dad, they are a huge inspiration in my life, I do what I do for them. I appreciate all the sacrifices they have made to put me in this position.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
Baltimore Ravens #FlockNation
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Deon Houston, because of his size a lot of teams may overlook him, but his man-to-man coverage is very elite, and he also has a heart of a lion.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Respect all but fear none. I live by this, meaning respect others and their accomplishments (on and off the field) but fear no one. Attack everything heads on with maximum effort.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
My Spanish teacher, Mr. Freeman is my favorite teacher. Even though he knew I was never great at Spanish, he always told me I can do anything I put my mind too in and outside of school. He helped me to prepare for college in school and as a man in life. He told many stories and gave knowledge that I took with me when I graduated CHC. He helped me evolve into a great student athlete.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
The hardest moment in my life is when I lost my Aunt Emily. We were extremely close, and it was unexpected. She was only 25 at the time of her death and she was like a sister to me. I was in 8th grade when she passed. It left a huge impact on me. This tragedy shaped me into the person I am today.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house, what would it be?
When I first went to school out Boston I tried this place called “Dave’s Hot Chicken”. Probably the best fast food I went to so I would not mind being supplied Dave’s here and there.
What is your favorite snack food?
Reese’s Candy.
What is your degree in?
I’ll be graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications in Spring 2025.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
My grandmother Joyce, my Dad’s Mom passed away when I was 1 year old from colon cancer. I’ve heard so much about her and how she would have been screaming for me at my games. I would like to get to know her.
My Aunt Emily, who I spoke about above. I miss her so much and just want to talk to her one more time and tell her I love her and hope I made her proud! #4Em
I would have dinner with Ed Reed of the Baltimore Ravens, the greatest safety of all time and HOF’er! I’d love to learn from him and get some advice on the DB position and the NFL.
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness would be my self. I feel there is nothing in this world that can stop you except your self. If you try your hardest everyday to be the best person you can be, you won’t run into the problem of self sabotage. I’m intentional about not standing in my own way.
