Ex-NFL player arrested for failure to appear in court over rape case | Judge ruled he is incompetent to stand trial

Former Oklahoma State star running back and Dallas Cowboy Joseph Randle was arrested for failing to appear in court. He was booked into Sedgwick County Jail last week.

Randle, who played football at Wichita Southeast and Oklahoma State, is accused of raping the mother of his son in 2018.

A Sedgwick County District Court judge ruled that former NFL running back and Wichita native Joseph Randle is incompetent to stand trial in a sexual assault case, the most severe in a list of legal run-ins in Wichita that followed his release from the Dallas Cowboys in 2015.

He has been arrested more than 5 times already. This incident is for failing to appear in court.
