Former Ohio State football player arrested on federal charges

Former Ohio State wide receiver Corey Smith was taken into custody this week by the United States Marshalls Service for violating federal parole, and failure to appear in court.
According to reports, police knocked on his door in West Virginia and he took off running and hid in the attack of the house. He will likely face more prison time now he was caught for violating parole.
Smith who played for the Buckeyes from 2013-2016, was sentenced to 57 months of incarceration for his role in drug distribution.
Smith pled guilty to aiding and abetting, and possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of Methamphetamines.
