Multiple NFL players including a Colts player will be suspended the entire season for Gambling
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, a handful of players are expected to receive a season-long suspension after violating the league’s rules on gambling.
According to Schefter one of the players is Indianapolis Colts cornerback Isaiah Rodgers.
According to ESPN, there were more than 100 bets placed on an account over an undisclosed amount of time to include Colts games. I am not sure if Rodgers himself bet on Colts game or if this is for the other handful of players as well.
There was a low four figure bet though on one occasion according to reports.
A report earlier this month from Matt Rybaltowski of the SportsHandle reported that a Colts player placed hundreds of wagers including some on the Colts. So it does in fact seem to be isolated to one player.
