Former USF star running back Mike Ford is dead at 38
Former University of South Florida running back Mike Ford who scored 23 career rushing touchdowns in his time at USF has died at the age of 38.
Ford was a star running back for the Bulls and rushed for 23 touchdowns and 1502 yards in his career.
Ford was a star running back from Sarasota, Florida and dominated the high school ranks.
Ford was a 5-star recruit at running back and had his best campaign as a senior. In 2004, Ford rushed for 2,836 yards with 37 touchdowns. Ford’s best game came against Naples Lely, rushing for 368 yards.
