Player Summary:
SR and 1 yr full-time starter at RB in the zone and gap blocking scheme of TXCU where he receives most of the carries. He transferred from LASW in ’22. He possesses poor height with marginal weight, adequate speed, subpar length and a compact, muscular build. He is a solid athlete showing a combination of good explosiveness and balance, solid COD and acceleration with average lateral quickness and agility and average top end play speed. He displays solid vision on zone runs as he finds the open hole or cutback lane. He exhibits sufficient burst through the hole before quickly accelerating to top speed. He plays with good contact balance as he keeps his feet moving on contact before finishing the run by falling forward for extra yardage. He is shifty in the open field as he makes DB/LB with subpar COD miss which combined with sufficient play enables him to pick up chunk yardage. In pass pro, he shows the willingness to block and uses his hands as he attempts to block. In the passing game, he runs mainly flats, curls and swings. He displays above-average hands possessing good manual dexterity that enables him to possess a catch radius that allows him to catch the ball with his hands away from his body. He plays with good mental toughness as he doesn’t shy away from contact against DL/LB/DB with good size. He displays ordinary patience as he waits for the block to be set up on power runs causing him to be stuck near the LOS. Below-average play strength prevents him from maintaining his block in pass pro against LB with good explosiveness and physical toughness. Lack of quality lateral quickness and agility enables LB/DL with good instincts and play speed to make the tackle as he tries to bounce the play to the outside. Lack of home run speed prevents him from gaining significant YAC consistently.

Power Statement:
Tough, durable player whose heart allows him to play much bigger than his listed size. He runs violently and displays good hands in the passing game. Lacks quality patience on power runs and the play strength needed to maintain his block consistently while in pass pro.
