Tyler is a 4-time all-conference senior and returning for his second year at Tulane after having 3 good seasons with Louisiana Tech. Tyler has a great ability to drop into coverage and cover very well in zone defense. He has the athleticism to keep up with receivers and deliver a powerful hit right after the catch. He has very good speed and awareness on the field and is crafty enough to play on the edge and use his power to shed blocks on tight ends on passing downs.
