According to the police report, Rodgers and his brother were walking home from the store in the road when they were struck by a teenage driver. Two girls were reportedly in the car and when they noticed Michael it was too late. They tried slamming on the brakes but they still struck him.
Rodgers family is asking if you would like to help the family, please donate to Brooks County’s athletic department for the middle school in Rodger’s name.
The young man is a huge sports fan, this would be cool to see a huge donation in his name. Rest In Peace young man.
