What type of player a Professional franchise or organization will get out of Richie Coffey?
A hardworking individual, basically I’m that guy to is the first to show up and the last guy out

Jacksonville Florida
How many years did you attend Mercer University?
5 years, I was a contributor anywhere, my coaches needed or put me in a position, to be coached and perform at a high level as I did this year in full leadership mode. I thank my Mercer coaches for putting me in those positions of accolades.
What is your best attribute?
I feel I can be a great asset to any team or defensive package, I played Nickel in a Bass Pass 3-5 scene. I can play press inside or out. I love downhill tackling. Also, my feet and pads are always live. I also can play safety.
What was your major at Mercer University?
I Majored in Communications
What made you choose Mercer University?
Well it was closer to where I was at, plus I couldn’t pass up being a Bear even though I was holding 8 more offers, and being a Bear meant everything out of high school.
Do you have an agent?
Yes, his name is Oscar.
Why should teams not pass on you?
Because I’m coachable, a communicator who solves solutions a wonderful teammate, a noble young man in any community, and willing to prove to teams, just give me a chance. That’s all coach! Big shout out to Coach Rudy Taylor, down there in Miami.
Worked as a Scout and volunteer for the East n West Shriners game in 2016-2017.
Also attended the Hula bowl and Tropical Bowl games. 2022
Also was a independent Agent and Scout at the CGS bowl game in 2021.
Worked All star games like the EPS All-Americans game in 2017.
