Player Summary:

5th YR SR and 3 yr starter at OL where he aligns at RT in the zone heavy blocking scheme of WVUN. In his time at WVUN, he also started at RG. He transferred from VAPI in ’21. He possesses good height with adequate weight, marginal speed, poor length and an athletic build. He is a sufficient athlete showing a combination of solid explosiveness, COD, lateral quickness and agility with average acceleration and adequate balance with sufficient play speed. He is a good run blocker. On OZ, he fires out of his stance before latching on and rolls his hips on contact. He generates movement at the POA with his solid foot drive and good grip strength against EDGE with average size and explosiveness. On down blocks, he uses his solid play strength to seal off 4i with subpar physical toughness. He is sufficient at the 2nd level while executing combo blocks on IZ as he peels off and takes solid angles at the 2nd level before using his solid play strength to overpower ILB with adequate play speed. He displays above-average finish ability as he displays good physical toughness finishing blocks to the ground against DL/LB with average balance. In pass pro, he plays with a good, wide base and keeps his feet moving. He displays sufficient anchor ability as he effectively uses his play strength to anchor at the POA against EDGE with ordinary size. He exhibits solid reactive athleticism as he exhibits good FBI to read the defense and picks up stunts and twists from NT with ordinary lateral quickness and agility. He exhibits solid recovery ability if beaten initially by EDGE with average get-off. He plays with solid mental toughness as he elevates his game in the 4th qtr in close games. Adequate flexibility prevents him from bending at the knee in pass pro enabling EDGE with above-average hip and ankle flexion to get under his pads. He displays ordinary UOH in pass pro as he keeps his hands wide leaving his chest open to bullrush and long arm techniques from EDGE with solid length.

Scheme Fit:

OG in zone scheme who could also play OT in an emergency.

Power Statement:

Tough, experienced, intelligent player who excels as a run blocker. Lack of quality length, flexibility and UOH limits his ability in pass pro.
