Mother of former Notre Dame star Louis Nix III speaks out after her son’s death
Just about an hour ago, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office finally released that former Notre Dame defensive tackle Louis Nix III did in fact die.
Nix’s mother Stephanie Wingfield talked about Nix’s run in with a shooter from the past, and said that Nix brush with the run in allowed him to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
Nix’s mothers then goes on to say she does not know why God took her son after finally accepting him, but she is happy he is in heaven.
Nix’s mother, Stephanie Wingfield, told Action Jax 30 that her son had died but said authorities didn’t tell her how.
“They said they couldn’t give me any more information,” Wingfield told WJXT-TV.
She added to the Florida Times-Union that police said: “it didn’t look like foul play.”
Please keep the family of Nix in your prayers.
