Alabama offensive lineman Elijah Pritchett arrested for a 2nd time in five months
Alabama Crimson Tide football player Elijah Pritchett has been arrested again. Pritchett cannot catch a break. the highly touted offensive tackle played in every game last season as a reserve, and is aiming to start at left tackle this year.
Pritchett was arrested back in December, being charged with a Class C misdemeanor to knowingly spreading a sexually transmitted disease.
Pritchett was arrested this week for the second time in 5 months. The Crimson Tide offensive lineman was charged with an Exhibition of Speed misdemeanor that carries a maximum jail sentence of three months and a fine of up to $500 if he is convicted.
Police reportedly observed a black Dodge Charger with no tag driving erratically in front of a store near the corner of University Boulevard and Campus Drive. The Alabama offensive lineman was driving the vehicle. Around the time of his arrest last December, Pritchett entered the NCAA transfer portal but then changed his mind a day later.
Ptichett was charged with “Exhibition of Speed,” a misdemeanor violation of the Alabama Code that outlaws street racing, exhibitions of speed, doing donuts and other reckless driving maneuvers.
