Former Patriots star pass rusher Willie McGinest was arrested in Los Angeles

Former New England Patriots legend Willie McGinest was arrested in Los Angeles, according to TMZ Sports.

McGinest was booked into jail around 7:30am on Monday morning and bail was set at 30,000 dollars.

McGinest allegedly assaulted someone over the past two week and turned himself into custody.

The former first round pick in 1994 played for 15 years and is one of the greatest Patriots ever.

McGinest is now on television as a broadcaster and was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame in 2015. He finished his career with 804 tackles and 86 career sacks.
