Former UConn quarterback claims he would give homeless people fake money hoping they would get arrested for using it

Former UConn quarterback John McEntee who started all 11 games for the Huskies in 2011 is in the news after his video went viral on TikTok.
The former NCAA gunslinger claimed that he likes to give fake money to homeless people. He hopes that the homeless people use the fake money and ultimately get arrested.
“So I always keep this fake Hollywood money in my car so when a homeless person asks for money, then I give him like a fake $5 bill, so I feel good about myself, they feel good,” he wrote.
“And then, when they go to use it, they get arrested so I’m actually like helping clean up the community. You know, getting them off the street.”
McEntee then claimed that it was just a joke and told everyone to calm down, but this is pretty rough.
McEntee is getting targeted on social media for his post, and by the sounds of some of the comments it looks like he is a big Trump supporter.
