Eagles have re-signed linebacker Emmanuel Acho

The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they’ve re-signed LB Emmanuel Acho to a contract on Monday.

The Eagles originally acquired Acho in a trade with the Cleveland Browns during the 2013 offseason. The Eagles gave up Dion Lewis, whom the Patriots happened to place on the injured reserved list on Monday, in the deal. Acho spent some time on Philadelphia’s practice squad in 2013 before being called up to the main roster. Acho remained with the team and played 14 games with the Eagles in 2014.

Acho was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football at Texas.
