NCAA reinstates Reggie Bush’s Heisman Trophy!
Reggie Bush will be reunited with the Heisman Trophy! According to reports, the former USC running back will get the award back after being stripped of the award back in 2010.
Bush won the Heisman in 2005 after completing one of the best college football seasons ever, but after a long NCAA investigation, it was determined his family received improper benefits while he was a member of the Trojans program.
With the NIL era, the NCAA was forced to give Reggie his award back. This is a huge win for Reggie Bush and it was the right thing to do for the NCAA.
Bush said this about getting the award back:
“Personally, I’m thrilled to reunite with my fellow Heisman winners and be a part of the storied legacy of the Heisman Trophy, and I’m honored to return to the Heisman family.”
