What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
1. Exceptional Pass Rush Abilities:
I have a natural talent for disrupting offenses, excelling at getting to the quarterback. My combination of hand technique, speed, and power allows me to consistently win one-on-one matchups against offensive tackles. I understand how to set up pass rush moves early in games and adapt as needed to exploit weaknesses.
2. Explosiveness Off the Line:
My first step off the snap is explosive, putting immediate pressure on offensive linemen. This quick burst, coupled with excellent reaction time, enables me to collapse the pocket and disrupt plays before they develop.
3. Instincts and Ball Awareness:
I have a knack for locating the football, whether it’s diagnosing run plays, sniffing out screens, or tracking the quarterback’s eyes. My ability to anticipate plays and adjust in real-time keeps me one step ahead of the competition.
4. Football IQ and Game Sense:
I pride myself on my preparation and understanding of the game. I study opponents meticulously, learning their tendencies and applying that knowledge on the field. This helps me not only excel in my role but also serve as a leader in communicating adjustments to my teammates.
5. Versatility and Relentlessness:
I’m not just a pass rusher—I can drop back into coverage when needed and excel in stopping the run. My relentless motor ensures I’m in on every play, whether it’s in the backfield or chasing down a runner from behind.
6. Leadership and Work Ethic:
My experience as a college football player for five years taught me resilience, discipline, and the importance of hard work. Those lessons translate directly into my performance on the field and in the locker room.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
One thing NFL teams should know about me is that I’m relentless in my preparation and execution. Whether it’s film study, practice, or game day, I bring the same intensity, focus, and drive to improve every single day. My goal is not just to make an impact on the field but also to elevate the team culture with my work ethic and commitment to excellence. I’m the type of player who will outwork anyone to ensure both personal and team success.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
If I could donate to one cause in the world, it would be to programs that provide opportunities for underprivileged youth to pursue sports and education, like the “Inky Johnson Foundation”. Sports taught me resilience, discipline, and teamwork, while education opened doors I never thought possible. By combining the two, I believe we can empower young people to break cycles of poverty, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to succeed in life—on and off the field.
Who was your role model?
My role model is my grandpa. He has been a constant source of strength, love, and support throughout my life. His unwavering commitment to his family, his service, and his resilience in the face of challenges have taught me the true meaning of integrity and dedication. He’s shown me how to lead by example, care for others, and never back down from hard work. His influence has shaped who I am today and continues to inspire me every day.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
Minnesota Vikings
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Dylan Boecker, his work ethic and consistent attitude are qualities that make him a valuable teammate. His dedication to improving, no matter the circumstances, shows a level of commitment that often goes unnoticed but is essential to a team’s success. Having a teammate like him who pushes to be better every day and lifts up the team is invaluable, even if he doesn’t always get the spotlight.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is a lack of effort. Whether it’s on the field, in practice, or in everyday life, I can’t stand when people don’t give their best. To me, effort is something you can always control, and it speaks volumes about your character and commitment. I believe if you’re going to do something, you should give it everything you’ve got.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
My favorite teacher ever is Kathy Lentz. She not only taught me lessons in the classroom but also inspired me to grow as a person. Her belief in me, her ability to challenge me to be my best, and her genuine care for my success both academically and personally are what make her stand out. She’s the kind of teacher who leaves a lasting impact far beyond the classroom.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
The hardest moment in my life to overcome was dealing with a major injury during my football career. It wasn’t just the physical pain—it was the emotional and mental struggle of being sidelined and questioning whether I could come back stronger. The feeling of being so close to my goals and then having everything put on hold was a tough pill to swallow.
However, that adversity pushed me to develop mental toughness. I focused on the recovery process, worked hard every day, and leaned on my support system. Ultimately, that experience taught me that setbacks don’t define you; how you respond to them does. It made me more determined to never take my opportunities for granted and to always give my best, no matter the circumstances.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?

What is your favorite snack food?
My favorite snack food is deer jerky. It’s packed with protein, tastes amazing, and reminds me of the outdoors and hard work that goes into hunting and preparing it. Whether I’m on the go or relaxing, it’s the perfect snack to keep me fueled and focused.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
- My Grandpa – He’s been my role model and biggest supporter. Having him at the table would be an incredible opportunity to soak in his wisdom and hear more about his life experiences and values.
- Luke Kuechly – As one of the smartest and most impactful linebackers ever, I’d want to learn about his approach to the game, especially his mental preparation and how he made quick decisions on the field. His leadership and passion for the sportwould make for an inspiring conversation.
- Inky Johnson – His story of overcoming a life-changing injury and continuing to inspire others with his message of resilience, faith, and leadership is something I deeply admire. I’d want to hear firsthand how he maintains his incredible perspective and how he uses his platform to positively impact others
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness is that I can sometimes be overly critical of myself. I set very high standards and always strive for perfection, which can make it tough to move past mistakes quickly. However, I’m learning to channel that self-criticism into motivation and focus on growth rather than dwelling on setbacks. It’s something I work on every day to become a more balanced and effective player and person.
