- Darren Morris, Southern University: Morris turned heads against Alabama A&M, recording 5 receptions for 96 yards and scoring 2 touchdowns.
- Czavian Teasett, Southern University: The freshman quarterback had an impressive game, completing 24 of 37 passes for 294 yards and delivering 3 touchdowns.
- Kobe Boykin and Travis Terrell Jr., Jackson State: Boykin had 3 carries for 16 yards, averaging 5.3 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Terrell Jr. took on a bigger load with 8 carries for 50 yards, proving he’s a valuable piece for Jackson State to build around over the next few years.
- Levontai Summerset, FAMU: Summerset was unstoppable against Texas Southern, rushing 6 times for 75 yards. His physical style made him a challenge for defenders, marking him as a force on offense.
- Robert Lockhart, FAMU: Lockhart made a name for himself with 3 punt returns, including a touchdown return that added up to 137 yards. He also contributed with a reception for 11 yards.
