Maverick McIvor, QB, Abilene Christian – McIvor went up against Texas Tech and put the entire team on his back. He completed 70 percent of his passes and threw for 506 yards. He also threw three touchdowns, his performance was pretty amazing.

ShunDerrick Powell, RB, Central Arkansas – Powell went up against an FBS opponent and state rival in Arkansas State and put up Madden numbers. He finished the game with 176 yards on just 15 attempt. He scored two touchdowns and added another 50 yards through the air.

Efton Chism III, WR, Eastern Washington – I am a die-hard fan of Chism III, he is unguardable at the FCS level. He hauled in 12 receptions for 173 yards and 3 touchdowns. Chism III has a great chance of joining Cooper Kupp, Kendrick Bourne and Nsimba Webster.

David Walker, DE, Central Arkansas – David Walker is one of the best pass rushers in the FCS, and he was a menace against Arkansas State racking up 2.5 sacks and 4 tackles. He also forced a fumble.

Rob Carter Jr., DB, Robert Morris – Rob Carter Jr. the transfer defensive back from UVA Wise made one of the biggest and best impact plays of Week 1. His electrifying interception was nasty and should replace the Odell Beckam Jr. catch as the catch of the decade. It was amazing! Great play brother!
