What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
I believe I am a top prospect for multiple reasons. My combination of strength, technique and football IQ have played a huge role in the player I am today, and my work ethic makes me want to perfect anything I do.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
One thing NFL teams should know about me is that I am ready to play right now. I’m confident in my abilities to make an impact on any team given my traits, and I think those are valuable assets to any NFL team.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
If I could donate to one cause it would be SickKids. Growing up I had a few friends who spent a lot of times at SickKids hospitals so donating to them would mean a lot to my friends and family.
Who was your role model?
My role model throughout my entire life has definitely been my brother Steve. I have tried to follow his footsteps for as long as I can remember and he has always been my biggest supporter. I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for him.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
My favourite NFL team is the New Orleans Saints. Growing up my dad would always put their games on for me if the Steelers weren’t playing and I was naturally a fan of them.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
I would say my most underrated teammate is Nick Gidaro. Nick played opposite to me last year at right tackle and stepped up in a big way for only being a second year player. He plays with a tenacity that I do as well and he will certainly be a prospect for scouts when his time comes.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is when people don’t work hard, yet still complain about their results. I think if you aren’t working hard to put yourself in the best position possible then you shouldn’t be complaining about anything. I am a big believer that you get what you put into it.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
My favourite teachers ever have definitely been my high school football coaches Mr. Beresford and Mr. Chondronikolas. Both of them inspired me to become a teacher myself and they really pushed me to take football seriously when I was a senior. I still talk to both of them today and they have become great mentors for me ever since I met them!
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
The hardest moment of my life was when I lost my grandmother during high school. My grandmother lived in our house since I was a young kid, and she was the first immediate family member I had lost. I wish it was possible to see her now but she made a life-long impact on my life.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house, what would it be?
A franchise I would love to have in my house would definitely be Wild Wings. My favourite food are chicken wings and I couldn’t imagine having access to one in my home.
What is your favorite snack food?
As most offensive lineman I have a sweet tooth so cookies or pineapple are common snacks in my house.
What is your degree in?
My degree is in math! I am on track to graduate after the fall 2024 term and I am hoping to use my degree to become a high school math teacher when my football career is over!
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Three people I would want to have dinner with would be my brother Steve, Duke Manyweather, and Nick Saban. I wouldn’t turn down a dinner with any of my family so I’d have another dinner with Steve. Duke Manyweather is an offensive lineman guru who I found on Instagram. I use many of the drills and techniques he showcases and he coaches many All-Pro offensive lineman in the NFL so I’d love to pick his brain over dinner. Lastly, I’d like to have dinner with Nick Saban just to understand his philosophies about football.
What is your biggest weakness?
I’d say my biggest weakness is that I am overly optimistic. Although being optimistic is a good trait to have, when outcomes aren’t as good as they can be it makes me dissatisfied and disappointed.
