What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
I think what makes me a top prospect is my motivation and determination to be the best I can be. I continuously take steps to better myself as both a player and person, and I have the drive and resilience to get through any obstacle that is in my path. Also, I can play any position on the inside making me a versatile player that can be plugged in anywhere if needed.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
That they will be getting a great team player and someone who has the motivation and drive to be the best player on and off the field.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
If I could donate to one cause, it would be to support access to clean water and sanitation around the world. Access to clean water is fundamental for proper health and it can drastically improve the quality of life for millions of people.
Who was your role model?
I think I really looked up to my vets coming in my first year at Western. Having the ability to be mentored by our past Center Elliot Beamer. He was the smartest football player I’ve met and inspired me to be the hardest working player.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
My favourite NFL team is the Cleveland Browns. Many ask me why I’d cheer for a team that had many struggles in the past. Even when they weren’t winning games, I’d watch Joe Thomas, he is who I want to become as a player on and off the field.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
If I had to pick one I’d say that one of our rookie Fullbacks this year Will McCharles. He was a force this spring and put some D-lineman in there place every practice and it doesn’t go unnoticed by me. I’d want to play with him and never against.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
One of my biggest pet peeves is tardiness. I place value on showing up to my commitments on time, and as I respect others’ time, it is my pet peeve when this respect is not reciprocated.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
My favourite teacher was my grade 12 English teacher, Miss Elliot. As French is my first language, I’ve always struggled in English class. She always took the extra time to make sure I understood all of my assignments and helped me further my studies.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
A few years ago I was told that if I wanted to keep playing football I’d have to make sacrifices, start having healthier habits, and lose 50 pounds. Sometimes being told the truth is what people need to hear. Although it was really hard to hear, I was able to change my entire life around in a matter of months. It has helped me become the man and the football player I am today.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
If I could have any franchise in my house it would be Chipotle. To me, nothing beats their burrito bowls.
What is your favorite snack food?
I’d have to say that Rice Krispies are my favourite snack as they are great for post lift and in between meals.
What is your degree in?
My degree is a major in criminology and minor in psychology.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
If I could have dinner with three people they would be; Jason Kelce, Tiger Woods, and my late grandfather Roger Legault. Jason Kelce is one of the best centers to have played the game and I would love the opportunity to be able to pick his brain on what set him apart as a player, and to further my knowledge of the game. Golf has been a hobby of mine that is taking quite some time to master. Having one of the greatest to play the sport, Tiger Woods, would be pretty cool to talk to and hopefully learn some tips. Finally, my Grandfather passed when I was roughly 13. I wish I could have dinner with him now to talk about everything that has happened in my life since he’s been gone and show him how my football career is going.
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness is that I have a hard time saying no. I will always do the things for others before I do things for myself. This is something I am continuously trying to work on for myself.
