Sneaky Good Free Agency Signings

Amidst the free agency frenzy that’s going on, some signings have not gained the deserved attention. While most eyes are drawn to the Saquon Barkley, Austin Ekeler, and Joe Mixon signings, there’s another running back whose deal has flown under the radar.

The Los Angeles Chargers recently signed former Ravens running back Gus Edwards. After recently hiring Jim Harbaugh as head coach, it’s no secret that Harbaugh is a fan of a strong run game. In this new scene of Charger football, I would expect Edwards to be a highlighted part of the Chargers’ offense.

Another signing that has been underappreciated is former Bears wideout Darnell Mooney signing with the Atlanta Falcons. Mooney is a good vertical threat that is just another weapon for newly signed quarterback Kirk Cousins. Mooney rounds out the Falcons offense nicely and adds a dynamic piece to the room of wide receivers.
