What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

My dad played in the CFL and I started playing at 7 and I looked up to my dad and I wanted to be like him.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Dressing up for my first time in 2021 for Queen’s in U Sports and that was the first game I played after my dad passed away and it was pretty meaningful for me.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I want to be the best player I can be for a team as a 1st team player or a scout player and willing to do whatever I can in any situation.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would say Adrian Peterson, because he’s someone I looked up to besides my dad and was my favorite player in the NFL and I would love to pick his brain and ask him how he recovered from injuries to win MVP and there’s a lot I can ask him about.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom, because I’ve seen her comeback from a lot and she went from a stay at home mom to a real estate agent and she’s been an inspiration to my whole family.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Personally I love an inside run, because I can run up the middle and hit someone and keep going.

What should we know about Anthony Soles the person?

I am super empathetic and don’t hold any grudges and love and appreciate anyone for who they are.

What stands out about your film the most?

My ability to keep moving my feet especially in those short yardage situations and fight through to get extra yards.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

By attacking all of them with determination and if I face failure I just reset my mentality and move on to the next step or play.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They would get a running back, fullback and tight end who can play in any play and someone who can play special teams in any situation and will practice as hard as possible and will show up everyday with a smile ready to attack the day.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love the brotherhood and friendships that come as a team and in a situation where you mess up you have 100 brothers there to pick you up and keep going.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Liam Silverson, he’s my H-Back at Queen’s University and he plays like an offensive lineman and hits people like a truck and every time he goes out there he dominates.
