What made you decide wanted to be a football player?

I’ve been playing football my whole life and being around a lot of athletes made me want to be a football player.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Playing at Jackson State for their homecoming game and beating them and last year getting my first interception against FAMU and beating them.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I just want to be one of the best from my city who made it and get a 4th or 5th contract and inspiring the community.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Odell Beckham Jr, he’s like the main guy everyone in my generation grew up watching and he hangs out with Drake and I like Drake too.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My brother, he also played college football and I always wanted to beat him at everything growing up.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

2 Man defense, it allows the safeties to roam and make plays while the underneath guys work out.

What should we know about Chauncey Moore the person?

Your never gonna catch me not smiling, very energetic, always having fun and making the best of the situation or environment I’m in.

What stands out about your film the most?

My tackling is one of my best talents on top of my main coverage and I had no problem making the big hits while also securing the tackle.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I have the mindset of control what I can control and don’t stress about things I can’t control and on the field I also try to communicate with my teammates through tough situations.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They would get more of a swiss army knife who can play anywhere in the secondary and on special teams and a willing player who is ready to do anything thrown his way.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The competitiveness of 22 guys on the field willing to do anything to win.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with?

Jeff Scott who I played with him at Alabama State before he transferred to Miles College and Cail Jackson who started at safety with me at Alabama State this past season.
