5th year JR and 1 yr full-time starter at EDGE where he aligns in a 2 pt stance in the 3-3-5 Nickel and 3-4 defense of ILUN. He possesses quality height, marginal weight and ordinary speed with a lean build. He is a solid athlete showing a combination of good lateral quickness and agility, solid acceleration, COD, balance, explosiveness and solid play speed. He displays solid getoff and displays good UOH as he delivers a well-timed punch to the frame of the OT/TE with ordinary length and subpar play strength. He displays a solid pass rush move repertoire consisting of a bullrush, long arm and rip. He displays good lateral quickness and agility as he twists towards the inside. He effectively uses his solid AA to penetrate the LOS against OT with marginal bend and displays good closing speed with a solid motor in pursuit before finishing up with a sack or hurry. He shows above-average FBI as he reads run/pass and the blocking scheme. He exhibits good UOH in his punch, placement and timing. He displays good lateral quickness and agility combined with quality instincts as he takes the correct angles when pursuing from the backside. He displays solid explosiveness and form as he makes the tackle near the LOS preventing a gain of significant yardage. In man coverage, he displays good ability to cover RB with ordinary play speed in the flat and on wheel routes. In zone, He quickly drops back to defend the hook and curl while reading the QB.
