Prosecutors are now saying former Bills P Matt Araiza was not even present during the gang rape of a female

Matt Araiza was drafted by the Buffalo Bills ready to serve as the Buffalo Bills star punter, when a wild charge would arise, saying the man named Punt God gang raped a 17-year-old female.
The Buffalo Bills would release Araiza and hope to clear their hands of the situation, but this week the former San Diego State punter is now being cleared of the incident.
According to Yahoo Sports, Araiza reportedly left the home an hour before evidence suggested the alleged gang rape would have occurred.
In December, the District Attorney announced no charges would be filed after San Diego Police had reportedly spent nearly 10 months on the case.
“Ultimately, prosecutors determined it is clear the evidence does not support the filing of criminal charges and there is no path to a potential criminal conviction,” the DA’s office said in a statement. “Prosecutors can only file charges when they ethically believe they can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.”
Araiza is hoping to get another shot, and there is no doubt he is one of the most talented young punters in the country. It is a shame that there is no recourse for him now that this information is out there. The female’s testimony ruined the young player’s career.
