What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Football was like the family business. My dad, my two older brothers, and my uncle, all played either division 1 football or played in the NFL. So naturally I wanted to play the sport as well.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Showcasing what I can do at pro day and getting picked up by any team afterwards.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Randy Moss. Outside my family. That was my favorite player growing up.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Getting my first catch and touchdown at Albion. Recently playing on the NFL Network at the NFLPA All-Star Bowl game.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

Can’t choose one my dad and two brothers all play their part in inspiring me. Dad, in how he carries himself, my brother in what he accomplished on the field, and my other brother who is the hardest worker I know.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Air Raid is my favorite because it relies a lot on the receivers. It allows receivers to be able to show case their speed and play making ability.

What should we know about Bailey Edwards the person?

I’m someone who likes to relax and chill and have fun a lot but when it’s time to work, it’s almost a different person that comes out.

What stands out about your film the most?

The biggest standout would be how easily I was able to get behind the defenses I played.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

In life, there will be challenges every step of the way and sometimes there is no preparation for it so the best way I deal with it is doing my best with what I can control. Did I do everything right in a situation? If not what could I have done better? In football it’s a little different because you spend all week watching film, getting better at practice, doing extra work, and being in the training room, and come game day, the defense may show something different, or an injury may happen. Best thing again for me is to keep my head high and continue to make adjustments to put myself in a better position to win.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A dedicated, hardworking playmaker who is always looking to get better to help the team.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

It’s just that, a game, and it’s fun. No matter how much money is involved in the sport. The game still has to be played.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Corey Willis from CMU. In person he was the best receiver I’ve seen.
