What makes you a top prospect at your position  in the 2023 NFL Draft?

My physicality on the perimeter I am not afraid to stick my nose in there and get physical. I just know when I am on my game I can’t be stopped and I am willing to go against anyone to prove that I belong.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I know how to respond to adversity all my life. It’s been that way playing corner. You have to have a short-term memory and I know that I have what it takes.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I would definitely donate to homeless shelters ever since I was a little kid. My passion was to give back and I want people to have a second chance at life. I believe giving back is what God intended for us on this earth.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Never give up on your dreams even if they may seem far out of reach. Keep taking steps towards them every day is one of the ones I received that stuck with me. There is so much more I could say to this but I believe that would be it.

Who was your childhood hero?

I would say my mom as funny as that sounds she did everything that she could raising 6 kids on her own. There are times when we sat in the car and cried together and talked but she never gave up on us. That’s why she’s my childhood hero.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

I would say Darion Smith plays DL. I believe he just needs a chance to show what he can do and the rest will be history.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Inconsistency I would definitely say is my biggest pet peeve

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

I would definitely have to say being told by the head coach at the university I transferred from that I wasn’t good enough to play there and if I stayed he only saw me as a scout team guy. That was all the fuel I needed to prove someone wrong.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

When I got to Charlotte everyone treated me like family and when I got here I could just be myself that’s what ultimately drew me to decide to make Charlotte my forever home. I have loved it ever since.

What is your favorite snack food?

I would definitely say sour skittles

What is the best part of football?

The fact you can play a game that you love and get paid for it. I always told myself “when I stopped having fun with it I was done with it,” guess I am not done with it yet.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I am determined to do whatever it takes to make it in this profession. I believe I have the skills, work ethic, and heart to take on this career path.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I would say Marlon Humphrey from a physicality standpoint I am not afraid to throw my body around and get in there.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

I would definitely have to say Martin Luther King, Jr Sigmund Freud and  Malcolm X .

I would pick these three because they all had different approaches to life itself. MLK preached on believing in nonviolence whereas Malcolm believed in fighting fire with fire. I would say they both had two interesting takes on life itself where this world was so segregated and split. I would like to have dinner with Sigmund Freud because,  he was an important psychologist in history who studied why people do the things that they do. I would hope by sitting with him I get a deeper understanding why people tend to act the way that they do in life.
