What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

What made me decide I wanted to be a football player is my dad, he knew my talent and know that football was the sport to take me far.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

One of my favorite moments is when I got my first offer my senior year, I was shocked and I almost didn’t believe it but I dreamed of that day since I was little and now I’m living in it.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom definitely inspires me the most because she’s always been there for me and made sacrifices when she didn’t have it, especially financially. She keeps me going and supports me everyday.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love the grind for football, the practicing everyday with your teammates, creating bonds, and just cherishing those moments winning or losing.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

I would hang out with Deion for sure just because I love his mentality and how he doesn’t fear nobody, and also he can give me tips on how to be better at my position (DB).

What are your favorite things about playing football for Kutztown?

My favorite things about playing for Kutztown is the grit and grind, we may not have all the money but that’s what makes us strive and work harder. Our mentality is different and our head coach breeds that mentality.

What should we know about Tyrell Ford the person?

You should know that I’m humble when I need to be, I’m an influencer on TikTok, I’m very down to earth, and I love traveling.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

My favorite scheme to play on defense, I would say man but it has to be cover 2 for me. Just the fact of playing the flat and can creep up for a big hit or a pick, gets me hype every time. It gives you a chance to be overly aggressive.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

The way I handle challenges off the field is just communicating with God which I’m also trying to get better at. And just focusing on myself. On the field just locking in on my assignment and doing my job.

What would a team get in a player like you?

What a team would get in a player like me is consistency, hard worker, a coachable player, and a healthy player.

What stands out about your film the most?

What stands out is how I read my keys and execute them, and also my technique.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

The most underrated player I played with, his name is Kerry Galloway. I played with him at Saint Francis my old school and even though he was short, he was able to still guard the tallest guys. But his height was a downfall to some people.
