Chiefs starting linebacker Willie Gay arrested for damaging a vacuum cleaner and a door frame


Willie Gay the Chiefs starting linebacker was arrested on Wednesday after he reportedly broke a vacuum cleaner, the wall and a door frame of a house in a confrontation with a female.
The police are classifying this arrest as a domestic violence offense and Gay has been charged with a misdemeanor criminal damage charge under 1,000 dollars.
Gay is expected to take the field this weekend in a huge showdown with the Buffalo Bills to get to the AFC Championship game.
The last thing any team in the playoff needs is a distraction.
Gay is just 23 years old, he was booked into the Johnson County Detention Center where he remained this morning awaiting bond. He has a court appearance today around 1:30pm.
