What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I started playing football because my family suggested it to me.

How are you planning to prepare for the draft?

I’m training myself mentally and physically just kinda training my mind and having a more proper understanding of the game.

What should we know about Obinna Eze the person?

That I love the Lord, I love Jesus, I’m married and I love my wife she means everything to me, I’m a team player and a family guy and I’m accountable.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

It always comes down to my confidence in God and that God will handle everything and I’m not afraid to ask anything out of my family when I need to.

What sets you apart from other offensive linemen?

I feel like when it comes to my work ethic and dedication and I will outwork anyone and my intelligence and knowledge of the game and I feel like I make everyone around me better.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Tyron Smith, because he was one of the first offensive linemen that I ever studied and I’m a cowboys fan and as a football player I would love to sit down and pick his brain.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Preparation, assignment and execution are the keys to a great football player and great football.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I’m very energetic but the way I use my energy is doing my assignment and also celebrating my teammates and finishing plays.

What do you love about the game of football?

I love that football is a team sport and that football is a valiant sport and you got to work for everything you get kinda like life.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A great teammate, a worker, and a very,very determined player, a very intelligent player, a very physical player, and a very,very high character player with a great work ethic and that will never change.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My first college offer that’s when I realized I get to play this game at a high level and my conference championship in Memphis I’ve never won anything until then.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I don’t just want to make it into the NFL I want to do it the right way and as the man I want to be.
