Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
- When I didn’t make an AAU basketball team in 6th grade, I lost all confidence in my athletic ability. Basketball was my favorite sport, but I just wasn’t good at it. I told my father that I didn’t want to play basketball anymore and that I wanted to try a different sport. A couple of days later, we were driving down the road and saw a sign that said “Jackrabbit Track.” I had always been a little bit faster than kids that were my age, so it made the most sense to try it out. Fast forward 10 years later, and I was a Junior Olympic All-American, State Champion, and second in App State history in the 100-meter dash. This just taught me that adversity is preparation for greatness if you take adversity as a challenge.

- Drake: Favorite Artist since I was in middle school.
- Lebron: Best basketball player of all time and gave back to his community in many ways
