College football player accused of raping an 11-year-old girl and solicitation of child pornography
This is a very harsh accusation, and if it is true, it is sick. La’Monte Kelly a 21-year-old wide receiver from Southwest Mississippi Community College has been arrested. The charges are sexual assault of a minor (11-year-old girl), a charge of solicitation of child pornography, and statutory rape.
Chief Investigator James Jefferson said deputies received a complaint from the parents of the 11-year-old on November 24, 2020. They said she was sexually assaulted.
Deputies, along with McComb police, arrested Kelly. He was charged with statutory rape. Kelly is being held at the Pike County Jail on a $75,000 bond. A hold has been placed on him for Jefferson County, where he faces the charge of solicitation of child pornography, according to WJTV.
The Freshman wide receiver is 5’11 and weighs 170 pounds. He was a graduate of McComb High School, and his nickname was Money. This is pretty wild.
