2021 NFL Draft Prospect: Kyle Pitts, TE, University of Florida

I get the pleasure to live in Florida and watch Gators games and that is why I am talking today about Kyle Pitts the massive pass catching tight end from UF. The University of Florida over the years always seems to pump out some players to the NFL, but I am not sure if there is a more polished player in the past 5 years than Kyle Pitts.
Pitts was an Under Armour All-American coming out of high school, twice. He is a versatile weapon that chose Florida over Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State and Tennessee.
Pitts stands at 6060 which is the most intriguing thing in my opinion. He is fast, and has great length which quarterbacks love especially in the red zone. Pitts is only a junior this season, but I think with a great year he will declare and leave school early.
In 2018, as a true freshman he was a key player on the Gators special teams unit. The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native served as the teams reserve tight end and would get a taste to play against Idaho scoring a touchdown against them.
Last season, Pitts blew up! He would play in all 13 games, starting 12 at tight end and finished the year with 54 receptions for 649 yards and scored five times. Pitts would finish third nationally for receptions last year, and I think with another huge year in 2020, he will enter his name in the NFL Draft.
NFL Draft Diamonds Scouting Notes:
Kyle Pitts is a huge tight end, and this tight end class is pretty damn impressive already but if Pitts does in fact leave the Gators after the season he could hear his name called in the top 50 picks. He is big, athletic, fast and has sure hands. NFL teams are going to love him because he has the ability to break a short pass for a touchdown every time he touches it. I must admit he would be an intriguing prospect if you were a GM. – Damond Talbot, Owner, NFL Draft Diamonds
