I was a peer counselor for a high school’s basketball and track team

Stone Mountain, GA
Who is your role model, and why?
There are many role models in my life, but the one guy that stays with me is Brother B, my team chaplain. He is the person that has helped me to grow the most during college. He is a God-fearing man and he exemplifies to me a man I want to be like one day.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Yes (basketball, baseball, soccer, and track)
Did you play any other positions in football?
Yes (tight end)
At your position, what separates you from others?
My initial strike and my effort
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
Formation tendencies, player tendencies, and motor through out the game.
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
Germaine Ifedi
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Brooks Reed; mostly because he goes in on his effort and has a lot of tenacity. He does not make a lot of plays every game, but his presence is felt in every game.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
The changing of my position under Coach Mason from a OLB to a 3-4 DE. It was sort of tough at first, but my position group helped me to overcome the difficulties.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Nothing besides listening to music
What is your biggest strength?
Great Strike and Hands
What is your biggest weakness?
Flexibility and sometimes Pass rush
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
I am a guy that will give relentless effort towards the game and work the hardest to prove that to you and this team.
Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?
Demarcus Ware, John Abraham; these guys were part of my favorite teams and they made an impact in great games.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
Spike Lee, 2Pac, and Bobby Brown
What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?
Honestly, I do not know. Most likely some clothes
