Jeff Fisher says Case Keenum will be the starting quarterback for the first preseason game
Jared Goff was the first pick in the NFL draft, but that does not mean anything. The Rams head coach says that Case Keenum will be the starter week one of preseason.
Case Keenum will start the Rams’ preseason opener next Saturday against the Cowboys, coach Jeff Fisher announced at his Friday press conference.
It will be the first game in Los Angeles for the Rams’ in 20 years, and Fisher apparently doesn’t think Goff is ready just yet.
I would not be surprised to see Jared Goff as the starter week 1 of the regular season, but for now this is Case Keenum’s job to lose in LA.
