Patriots owner waves the white flag, says they will not appeal the decision of the NFL
It sounds like the New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is waving the white flag. Today according to Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports, Kraft said the Patriots will not appeal the fine or the loss of the draft picks. Kraft will basically take it on the chin, but will Brady get a lesser sentence? That is still to be determined.
“Now I know that a lot of Patriots fans are going to be disappointed in that decision (to not appeal) but I hope they trust my judgment and know that I really feel at this point in time, taking this off the agenda, this is the best thing for the New England Patriots, our fans and the NFL, and I hope you all can respect that.”
