Giants linebacker Jon Beason elects to have season ending surgery
Jon Beason the New York Giants starting linebacker will undergo season-ending surgery to repair his injured right foot.
Beason admitted last week it was “50-50” his season would be over. He first injured his foot over the summer, but didn’t go under the knife at the time.
Beason signed a three-year, $16.8 million contract this season after he helped key the Giants’ defensive turnaround last season.

Giants LB Jon Beason is now officially out for the season and will undergo surgery to repair damage in his injured right foot.
Thankfully the Giants were able to sign Jameel McClain in the offseason, because he will take over starting duties for Beason.
