Colts claim CB Brandon Burton off the waivers from the Bengals

Just the other day the Cincinnati Bengals released Brandon Burton for Victor Hampton, but Burton did not take long to find a new home.  Burton was claimed by the Indianapolis Colts today. Burton was considered one of the best cornerback prospects for the 2011 NFL Draft. Burton was selected with the 139th pick in the fifth round of the draft by the Minnesota Vikings.

Burton was claimed by the Colts today and in a corresponding move the team released offensive guard Marcus Hall. Burton will have to fight several players to make the roster, and his chances are slim to make the 53.
