Could Aaron Rodgers screw the Jets and the Packers? He does have that option, and while he told Brandon Marshall the other day he would make his decision soon, he still is clueless as to what he is going to do.
According to Rob Demovsky, the Packers nor Jets know what Aaron Rodgers is going to do and Free Agency starts in less than 30 minutes.
I am not sure why you would handcuff a team if you were in fact planning to play with them. The Packers do not want Rodgers back, the Jets on the other hand do want him. Could Rodgers tell the Jets he is going to make the move to them, and for them to sign people out the gate, then hold the Packers hostage for trying to trade him?
The Packers do not have a lot of cap, so they would not really be able to make many moves with Rodgers still on their books. It will be interesting to see.
If the Jets are active in Free Agency from the jump, you can guarantee Rodgers is headed to the Big Apple.
