What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Growing up I was always a 2 sport athlete. I took football more serious because I felt that was the best chance to further my career to college and hopefully being a professional.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Maximizing my ability and advancing my football career to show what I can do.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Justin Jefferson. He’s the best receiver in the league right now. I want to see what he does to prepare for the game.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments would be signing day, my first college touchdown, and winning a SWAC championship.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mother. Seeing her get up and raise 3 boys everyday. Her work ethic is what inspired me the most.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Pro style. This is my favorite because you can exploit the defenses weaknesses. And you’re not one dimensional on offense.

What should we know about Kendric Johnson the person?

I am a very laid back and relaxed person I like to joke around and have fun but when it’s time to lock in I’m all about business and working hard to achieve my goals.

What stands out about your film the most?

My ability to affect the game in the pass and run game. I am athletic enough to get open and win my one on one matchups and also strong and physical enough to play in the run game.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Approaching everything the same and being able to adjust on the fly. Never getting too high or low on situations.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A hard working individual that wants to win and wants to learn and will do anything for the team to ensure success.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The intensity and attention to detail that you have to pay attention to.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Aqeel Glass. He should be in the NFL. The best quarterback in Alabama A&M history and one of the best in FCS history and he is not on an NFL roster.
