The Carolina Panthers slammed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and as the players were walking off the field, one of the refs asked the star wide receiver for his autograph.

Evans signed something for the ref, and it did not seem like a big deal, but someone in the locker room area, recorded it and leaked it to social media.

Now, the NFL is looking into the matter.

The video shows a game official stop Evans in the tunnel and asked for an autograph as he was heading to the locker room. It’s possible the official needed something else following the game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Both side judge Jeff Lamberth and line judge Tripp Sutter are now being investigated.

The NFL-NFLRA CBA states officials “shall not ask players, coaches, or any other team personnel for autographs or memorabilia.

I am sorry this is pretty petty. The guy probably wanted an autograph for his grandchildren. I hope the story is amazing and makes the NFL look bad.
