Pittman’s Pocket: College Game Day is headed to Jackson State!
College Game Day is heading to Jackson State, in Jackson Mississippi come October 29th, at 8 am to 11 am. Eastern Standard time. This is going to be bananas!
Jackson State and Coach Prime will be the main feature but Coach Eric Dooley and the 5-2 Southern Jaguars, are ready to test JSU domination this upcoming showdown.
Southern has Besean McCray who can be a threat in the running and passing game as a quarterback for the Jaguars. As well as the threat of Shedeur Sanders for Jackson State.
Southern Jerodd Sims will have his hands full, going up against Coach Thurman’s defense, especially the Tigers front 8. Sy’Veon Wilkerson should have a fair day against Southern, but you can’t count Southern defense out.
#2 Cassius Allen has 3 interceptions and Jalan Campbell finished with 26 solo tackles and is Southern’s best defensive defenders. Which is dangerous not including former SWAC defensive player of the year Jordan Lewis #32 and Jason Dumas big boy at defensive tackle #1.
In all, I feel like this will be a sure and entertaining game to watch come Saturday. Hoping America enjoys the HBCU environment and festivities that will exist and premiere in Jackson, Mississippi. College Game day will be apart of Jackson, Mississippi and it will be significant to the people, community and both universities. Enjoy the game.
