What is your favorite coverage and why?

Man coverage or cover 4, man coverage I’m usually down covering the wide receiver or cover 4 I am reading the qb on a side with help and underneath coverage.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

I feel like preparation, intelligence and just the intent to help make plays. And I feel like preparation is the first thing because you have to know what somebody wants to do in order to stop them.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Ed Reed because he’s been a influential part of my football career and he has a different mentality about the game then most others about the game watching videos of him and I can soak up alot of knowledge from him.

What sets you apart from other defensive backs?

Just my understanding of the game. I feel like I can be seen as an extra coach on the field. And my mentality to keep going no matter what.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Would probably be my first college interception that’s been one of biggest moments and being on the biggest stages like we played the national champions this past year.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I have determination that is contagious.

What should we know about Hombre Kennedy the person?

Is that aside from football I have other aspirations to help out my family and loved ones and I treat everyone with respect and kindness through everything that I do and I am a very determined individual.

How do you prepare for games?

The day after our game I watch the previous game and then I watch the next teams film and I study the offensive coordinator’s play calling and what they do and then the personnel and what they do and certain indicators they give off while on the field.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I handle them one by one taking them on and try not to stress anything.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They’ll get a flexible player that can play different positions on the field willing to do anything to help the team any way possible and is a student of the game.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

Just coming back from my broken ankle injury and just showing people what my last year will be and putting all that hard work to use.
