What are you hoping to show scouts at the 2022 Hula Bowl?

• I want to show the scouts that I am a smart player that can compete at a high level at multiple spots against good competition. 

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

• I would donate to an organization like “Children International” because their goal is to help children in poverty. I have never lived in poverty but I know how it feels to see or get something you have always dreamed of or wished was true and how it can impact someone and change a life. That’s what I want to do, if I get the chance I would like to help someone live past where they’re now so they can live out a dream. 

What is the best advice you have ever received? 

• The best advice that I have ever received was to stay true to myself and what I believe no matter what I’m doing. 

What is your favorite song to listen to before kickoff? 

• I wouldn’t say I have a favorite song but I do have 3 artists I listen to every gameday day. The 3 artists are Babyface Ray, EST Gee, and Future. 

If you were an animal, what animal would you be?

• I would be a wolf. A wolf is relentless, strong, and smart as an individual but it excels when it hunts in a pack. I can get things done on my own but without the people around me, I wouldn’t be as successful as I would be without them. 

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

• A moment of adversity that I had to overcome was to become an NCAA qualifier and graduate high school, I didn’t become an NCAA qualifier but I did have a chance to go to JUCO which was an opportunity to grow as I went through challenging obstacles to get on of Garden City Community College.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

• Tyrann Mathieu, he instinctive, smart, versatile, and is always around the ball.

Did you have a favorite player or team in the NFL when you were growing up?

• My favorite team is the Cleveland Browns since I have grown up in Cleveland my whole life. I have multiple friends that are currently playing in the NFL so I really don’t have a favorite player but if I was to name some guys I love watching, it would be Minkah Fitzpatrick and Tyrann Mathieu

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why? 

• Jay Z, Martin Luther King Jr., and Lebron James. I chose these three people because of the simple fact that there are wise and have all been through a tremendous amount of adversity and found a way to do their job to become successful. They are men who have done what it took to either make change, become an inspiration, be a leader and be the best at what they do.
