Do you think the Browns are doing the right thing with Odell Beckham Jr.?

Odell Beckham Jr. Browns
Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is a player who has not been very impressive since joining the Browns. Should teams avoid him?

The Cleveland Browns are in the news again because they are finally putting their foot down. I am not sure if I agree with it or not, but I want to know what our readers believe.

Beckham Jr. was sent home for the second day in a row. Today, Head Coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters, Beckham Jr. was sent home.

“I would just tell you, again, today he’s excused, and we’ll see where this goes.”

According to Pro Football Talk, Stefanski did not deny the fact that he told his players that Odell was no longer part of the team either.

At this point, what are the Browns doing? The Trade Deadline has come and gone. The Browns can hold him out like Deshaun Watson and trade him in the off-season if they would like. I mean that is the only thing that makes sense at this point, but Beckham Jr. has not really been productive with the Browns.

I know wide receivers can be drama queens, but I have heard Beckham Jr is not a guy that has really been stirring the pot. He has just been quiet and doing what has been asked. Many believe that Beckham Jr. will be cut, but at his point why would you cut him?

I mean this comes after his father posted a video on Instagram highlighting times when quarterback Baker Mayfield either didn’t throw the ball to Beckham or missed him when he was open.

By the looks of it OBJ is done in Cleveland. The 29-year-old wide receiver will be claimed almost immediately if he is cut. The Browns however, would save $15 million on their salary cap if they were to trade or release him during the offseason.

At this point, the Browns may just have to suspend him from the team, and move on until the off-season then hope a team comes calling.
