Star football player in Miami killed in a hit and run accident | A 23-year-old female arrested

Justin Rivera a star football player at Miami Southridge Senior High School, was jogging on the sidewalk along Southwest 152nd Street, near 127th Avenue, when he was struck by a driver who fled the scene. The 17-year-old standout was left to die.

A 23-year-old female named Maria Rodríguez was arrested and is being charged for the death of Rivera.

Justin was pronounced dead at the scene by the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Unit.
