Former NFL safety Bacarri Rambo indicted for rape of a 21-year-old female

Former Georgia Bulldog defensive back Bacarri Rambo has been indicted on rape charges in Georgia.

Former Buffalo Bills and Washington Football Team safety Bacarri Rambo was indicted this week for a rape that occured last summer.

According to police reports, the former UGA Bulldogs All-Time Interception leader was arrested for rape, after a 21-year-old Georgia student stated he raped her on June 13, 2020.

Rambo was released from custody nine days later, upon posting a $20,000 bond.

The Western Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office on Sept. 21 of this year presented the case to a grand jury, which voted to indict Rambo on the rape charge.

He was drafted by the Washington Redskins in 2013 and has played with the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills. He ended his career in 2017.
