Right now Tom Brady is the guy in New England, after his time is up it is Jimmy G’s time, but that did not stop them from working out a quarterback today. According to Mike Reiss of ESPN, the Patriots hosted Ricky Stanzi the former Chiefs quarterback for a visit.
Stanzi would never be more than a third stringer in New England, and the Patriots rarely keep a 3rd quarterback on their roster.
With an open No. 3 spot on QB depth chart, Patriots had Ricky Stanzi in town for a look. Stanzi entered NFL in ’11 with Chiefs (5th round).
