Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Jaguars brought in former 49ers RB Kendall Hunter for a tryout on Friday

Jaguars worked out former 49ers RB Kendall Hunter

The 49ers placed Hunter on injured reserve when the team made its cuts to 53 players before the start of the regular season. Hunter had not yet returned to 100-percent health after missing all of last season with a torn ACL.

While Hunter is eligible to sign with any other team in the NFL, he is not allowed to rejoin the 49ers this season because the injury settlement.
